A Cast of Thousands
What makes things easy for fans is hard work, which begins with the team and carries over to the stands. The poor mascot, Lou Seal, has slapped so many palms his paws are threadbare. As for the vendors, they're highly visible and, in the case of the "beer here" guy, highly audible.
More Deals Than Fred Ricart
As for the club's promotions, some are entertaining while some (10 cent Slyder night)are hard to swallow. Yet even when it's not a special occasion, there are giveaways and the crucial mustard vs.ketchup scoreboard race.
Abandon All Discipline, Ye Who Enter Here
Naturally, this hospitality is abused by parents, who let their little monsters run wild. Frankly, the worst part about bringing your kids is your kids.
Meanwhile, Back on the Field
This playful atmosphere makes people forget about the game but remember all the former Clippers on the Yankee roster. As for the current squad, several have already been to New York and more will follow.

This is the AAA minor league team for the New York Yankees. It is an old stadium built next to a cemetary so it can be spooky at night. The stadium definately has a vintage feel to it. You can sit literally on top of the dugouts. Tickets are fairly inexpensive considering the day in age we live in. They have a small gift shop with decently priced souviners. A nice place to spend some time without going broke.

The Columbus Clippers are the AAA team for the New York Yankees. When I first moved to Ohio from CT., I was thrilled to find out I could still keep up with the Yankees via their farm team. It's a lot of fun to see the players of tomorrow earn a chance at the big leagues. Going to see the Clippers is a very economical event. General admission is very affordable, as are concessions. Don't forget to bring your cowbell!

One of Columbus' Best:
Nominated for Best Family Fun because a quality attraction that's suitable for all ages and easily affordable covers all the bases.
Prospecting:
The brightest gems at the diamond this year should be first baseman Nick Johnson and third baseman Drew Henson. (Yes, he's the former Michigan quarterback).
Name That Missing Tune:
Cowbell activity has declined. The "Ring Your Bell" song, which used to play nearly every half-inning, is now seldom heard.
Smoking Permitted:
Designated Areas Only
