The Sound
Pulse hit cowtown clublife with a gala New Years opening, and it is trying to keep the crowds coming by dropping big cash on international DJs every Saturday. Japan's Ken Ischii has played here; others are imports from the South Beach scene. Expect to hear techno, disco house and plenty of trance played on a tight, bassy soundsystem.
The Look
The space is deceptively large, and rumor has it that as soon as crowds permit, another floor will open. Decor is dark and minimal: Think neo-'80s, like locals Axis and Club 504 (RIP). Wear something black and practice your stare. With luck, you'll soon be rubbing shoulders with the best of Columbus nightlife: Local pro sports teams are regulars here, and several WWF stars have been seen blowing off steam on the dance floor.

The ChargeThursdays, cover is free (for now). Otherwise, expect to shell out $10 to get past the ropes. If you want to access the VIP lounge, you'll have to spend twice that much.
ParkingSkip the valet and save the cash for another drink. This part of Main Street has plenty of meters and most are vacant after hours.
