Ain't what it used to be. Cap City has lost it's way and is a mere shadow of it's former self. The food used to be a sure thing. I dined here twice a week a couple years ago.

But now the quality of the ingredients is poor. The dining room is dirty. And the wait staff are average at best.

Don't waste your time.

Nice Surprise. I didn't intend to go into a restaurant and order meatloaf, but I did! The meatloaf sandwich was to die for. High end diner that doesn't break the bank.

Stick to grandview location. The atmosphere is certainly not as pleasant as its downtown counterpart. The restaurant is very busy, and the staff is inattentive; a couple of diners can easily be lost in the crowd, as we were. The food was certainly not freshly prepared and we happened to have a 1 hour hiatus between our appetizers and main course. Our server never bothered to come by once, even out of courtesy to make sure we were okay.

We realized we weren't the only ones who were unhappy, as the majority of the tables surrounding us were waiting (not as long as we were) and there was quite a bit of commotion which resulted in the manager coming out to exchange dishes.

Bottom line, this location is defnitely not recommended--this is the first time we've ever had to spend 2 hours for a diner meal..

Yummmm..... The best meatloaf EVER!!! The Maytag Blue Cheese chips are to DIE for...I can't say enough about this place - everything I have ever had here has been wonderful, the service is prompt and attentive, and I always leave satisfied...

Neighborhood Favorite. This is the place when you are craving Mom's food! The meatloaf is awesome, but so are all the diner pies, the chocolate cake, the chicken & biscuits, the chicken romano. I could go on and on. It's the perfect place with my husband and three little girls. The staff treats you like royalty!
