Best Seafood away from the Sea. My wife and I try to go here everytime we are in Columbus. The food is execellent and never disappointing. When your travels can't take you to either coast, this is the best alternative hands down.

always a good meal. My wife and I always have a very good meal while here. We are on the south beach diet and the servers were greatly accomodating to us with changing to veggies versus potatoes.

Always make a reservation (opentable dot com takes 2 minutes) because they have alot of walk ins. Atmosphere is busy, but not loud.

Great place for enjoying fresh fish in Columbus. Had heard about the Columbus Fish Market but got the chance to try it out during lunch with a friend recently. The ambience was great, fish was fresh and cooked as requested. The waiteress was very attentive to detail and hospitable. Would recommend it highly if you are in the mood for fish.

The one thing that I would change if possible is the ability to control the volume of the music being played.

Favorite Seafood in the City. Given the fact that the Fish Market is a Mitchell restaurant you know right off the bat that you are in for a good experience. As a person not inclined to like seafood, I absolutely love this place. It is right near the top of my list of places to go on a special occasion.

The food (surf and turf) is top notch, there is a great beer and wine list and the atmosphere is excellent. It is on the pricey side but well worth it. The menu changes daily as do the specials because the restaurant gets fresh shipments every day.

Unlike the other Columbus location, it is a little easier to get reservations here.

All in all this place is highly recommended,

Great considering. I think this is one of the better places to get seafood considering we are land locked (and I don't think of Lake Erie as anything close to a major water source). You can get fairly fresh seafood from the Fish Market and it's a good sized portion of it too!

I miss the ocean!!!. living in central Ohio I miss the ocean!!! . .I live by the rule "can I see an ocean?" - -meaing if i can't then why would i order seafood - - -well this resturant is the best seafood I have had not being near an ocean . . it is all freash and very well prepared!! . . .no salt air - - -but a great seafood dinner!! . .their swordfish is stellar!!!!!! . .and the lump meat crab is an outstanding appetizer!!!

Miss coastal dining!. If you're thinking about dining at Columbus Fish Market on the weekend, make reservations! This bustling seafood restaurant is busy for a reason..Fresh fish are flown in daily to be prepared to your liking for dinner, or to take home from their "fish market" counter.

We've dined here on numerous occasions (on a weeknight and have even risked getting rejected on a Saturday night) and brought family and friends who were visiting from out of town. The preparation and freshness of the food have consistently been top notch.

There is a diverse selection of offerings from fresh malpeque oysters to the best crab cakes in town to a variety of fresh and saltwater fish, which may be prepared blackened, asian style, grilled, whatever suits your fancy. The wine list is actually quite good and offers several good coastal wines which certainly compliment the delicious seafood! P.S. Save room for dessert!

One of my favorite places. When I am in the mood for great seafood this is my first choice. The seafood is fresh tasting and delicious. Appetizer salad of tomato's and mozzarella is fantastic. Desserts are also delicious. Staff of the restaurant are always friendly and attentive.

Unique Chef Specialites. Columbus Fish Market is my first choice whenever I'm craving seafood. The fish is fresh and you can really taste the difference. My favorite is the Shang Hai Salmon - which is steamed and served over sticky rice and spinach. Very yummy and it's actually good for you too. The servers are always extremely friendly and make me feel right at home. It's a great place!
