Editorial Review for Antrim Park – by Bill McComb
The Scene
Positioned on the Northwest side of town, Antrim Park could very well be the most popular personal athletic facility in Central Ohio. On one side of the park, there are the traditional team-sports facilities including basketball courts, soccer fields, softball and baseball diamonds, as well as an array of first-rate tennis courts. The other side of the park is geared towards individual activity.
Hiking and Biking
The Olentangy bike trail feeds onto a paved trail which circles the pond. The trail is consistently packed with exercise enthusiasts, including walkers, joggers, rollerbladers and cyclists. Fish of considerable size are often reported in the large, trout-stocked fishing pond. Boats are not permitted, but Antrim holds fishing derbies for children ages 6 to 14.
