Not your normal breakfast joint. This place is the type of breakfast I've always looked for and now, have found it. I order the chickichanga every time I go to this place and I've never been disappointed. Its Whipped eggs with spicy chicken, homemade chorizo, green chiles, onion, avocado rolled in a crispy flour tortilla and topped with Vera Cruz sauce and sour cream. The service is always very friendly and very fast. Dining time never goes over 30min during the week or an hour on sunday(their busiest day). First watch is a breakfast place with a southwest/mexican twist to breakfast--there are many dishes with salsa, avacado, sour cream, etc.

Chainstore food.. Relatively average breakfast (the home fries are terrible -- I think microwaved -- either mushy or extremely burning hot), but menu variety may appeal to families. Nice and comfortable store interior and facilities. National chainstore concept -- stores maintain same standards and offerings wherever I've experienced (thus same ratings).

Best Of the Chains?. This is for the Upper Arlington outlet on Tremont Road. This chain is rated number one for breakfast throughout the country. I found it very average - I ordered the Greek Fetish omelette. Tasty fillings, but not overly generous. Average potatoes, muffin. Nice big glass of orange juice. The place was filled with groups of elderly ladies. My husband seemed out of place there. Service was friendly and prompt. I guess if you Must eat at a chain - this could be the one - but there are better breakfasts out there.

Watching your waistline?. I checked the nutrional information on their website and was shocked to learn that most sandwich plates are upwards of 800+ calories and average about 72 grams of fat. Even their salads have upwards of 60 grams of fat. Keep to the "healthy" column of the menu if you want to eat low-fat/low-cal.

Good Morning!. Several visits to this bright and cheerful breakfast spot have proved that the enthusiastic service and great food is a consistent product. The omelets, pancakes, muffins and wraps are all well worth a try. The coffee is several giant steps above average and is available in a carafe if you arrive during a rush and are forced to wait a bit. Where does this restaurant find such charming and energetic staff?

Variety and dependability make this corporate breakfast restaurant anything but a snooze.. The Scene
If you believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you're bound to like First Watch where omelettes, waffles, French toast and all things a.m.-ish are served until 2:30 p.m. every day. There are lunch items, too--Reubens, quesadillas and Cobb salads--but it's the giant breakfast section of the menu that pries the old eyeballs open. Well, that and the carafe of coffee, left at the table to get that essential morning buzz going.

The Food
The menu offers everything from egg-white omelettes for health nuts to biscuits and sausage gravy for those who are a little more cavalier about their cholesterol levels. Somewhere in between, you'll find Sonoran Frittatas (made with chorizo, tomatoes, melted cheese, sour cream and chives), salsa omlettes and fresh fruit crepes. Banana crunch pancakes are not to be missed.

It's the Best. Without a doubt, First Watch is the best place to get breakfast in Columbus. You have to watch out because the crowds get huge on the weekends, but the food and service is well worth the wait.

Yum-Yum Yummy. I really enjoy Firstwatch, every time I have ate there my food has been very good. The only thing I do not like is the wait. It can be long at times, but it is well worth it.

incredibledibles. Great management culture, focused on the "core" service - early eating - and home with the family in the evening. Great service and selection for "eggs"

Want something different?. This restaurant is what my newly retired father needs. Too bad he lives out of town, nowhere near a First Watch franchise.

New & different takes on the old & not so old breakfast favorites! Or try any of the magnificant salads, which I DO eat for breakfast.

Unfortunatly there is almost always a constant wait for a table, but I do think it is worth it.
