The Scene
Shooters is a dim, smoky place with lots of whirling lights and screens sporting those silly, repetitive images that are required by law at all serious dance clubs. There's a black light over one of the dance floors, so make sure you brush the lint off your clothes before you get there. Shooters gets points for playing actual dance music, instead of slit-your-wrists techno crap. Wednesday is hip-hop night.
Who's There
Very sleek, slightly older club kids. Everyone is well dressed, partly because of the club's dress code (no sportswear or sleeveless shirts).
Pickup Factor
Shooters is a meat market extraordinaire. The club has that kind of college spring break atmosphere--women walking around with trays of shots, hot body contests on Tuesdays--that's conducive to hardcore beer-goggling.

This club has been close for a couple of years now. It was a great club 4 years ago but like other clubs that have come and gone in Columbus, this club is nothing more than a memory.
